Jophen Lama

Jophen is a B.A. graduate with a Politics, Philosophy, and Economics major and a Gender Studies minor from the Asian University for Women in Bangladesh. Her work experience extends from being an international law firm intern to being a program intern at several local and international non-profit organizations. She brings her work experience in research, writing, planning, management, and communications to the organization. Her interest lies in working in the development sector, focusing on women's empowerment, gender equality, education, and community development. Besides work, she spends her time indulging in performing arts, sports, traveling, and vlogging. She believes in the power of collective effort to lift each other up and emphasizes the importance of communities. As a result, she has created a space on Instagram and YouTube, where she shares about her daily life for the girlies to be doing life together. You can find her running around K-town during the weekends.
