FDM in association with Nepal Institute for Policy Research (NIPoRe) has been analyzing key initiatives taken by the Provincial governments of all 7 provinces to control the Covid-19 pandemic and manage the associated social and economic crises. While the focus of the study has been to understand initiatives undertaken by the Provincial government, measures undertaken by the respective local governments is also being studied to see how they contributed to the Provincial government’s efforts in containing the crisis. At the same time, the study is also looking into how coordination has been maintained between the three levels of government – Federal, Provincial and local in handling the crisis.
