Public Perception Survey for Measuring the Level of Public Understanding and Confidence in the Role of Civil Society Organization and Media in Nepal

The Civil Society: Mutual Accountability Project (CS: MAP) is a five year project supported by USAID and implemented by FHI 360. The goal of the project is to foster a more legitimate, accountable, and resilient Nepali civil society that is capable of advancing the public interest. As a part of the project, interventions were designed so as to bring about change in people’s perception about the role and work of CSOs and media. In the this context, FDM conducted a follow up study to understand the changes in public perception compared to the baseline findings, along with government’s satisfaction level towards the work of CSOs and media in contributing towards social development, functional democracy and just society.
