FDM provided technical support to SAATHI to develop a five-year strategic plan along with a twelve-month operational plan following a widely participatory and inclusive approach. The strategic plan laid out the most important priority activities that need to be conducted in five years period in order to strengthen institutional capacity of SAATHI. It also strived to provide a frame-work within which to work, with a clear understanding of the broader context, along with the issues that need to be intervened, capacity needed for intervention and a clear understanding about the certain number of years to achieve the stated objective. The plan sought to guide the organization to operate effectively and efficiently.
