FDM conducted the external mid-term evaluation of Sponsorship Program in Saptari district implemented by Save the Children from November 2018-January 2019 with the objective of supporting the government’s vision of ensuring holistic development of children and adolescents of Nepal. Save the Children launched a decade long Sponsorship Program in 2013 in Saptari, which focuses on Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD), Basic Education (BE), School Health and Nutrition (SHN) and Adolescent Development (AD) through an integrated approach. In this context, FDM was hired to conduct the midline evaluation of the project and reconstruct the data for baseline with the objective to evaluate the degree to which the program’s intended purpose and outcome is achieved in Saptari and assess the unintended impacts.
