Endline evaluation of Economic and Social Empowerment of Freed Haliya, Kamaiya, Kamlahari and other marginalised groups of Far west

FDM currently conducted the endline evaluation of the Economic and Social Empowerment of Freed Haliya, Kamaiya, Kamlahari and other marginalised groups of Far west project. The project has the objective to strengthen social and economic status of most marginalized groups in Kailali and Dadeldhura districts of Far western region, Nepal. By the end of the project duration, FCA aims to see increased access to finance of most marginalized groups focusing on women through establishment and strengthening capacity of women led cooperatives to provide collateral-free loan and increased saving practices. In addition to this, FCA also visions increased income opportunities for the marginalized groups focusing on women through enhanced technical and entrepreneurship skill, better market linkage and advocacy towards local government. For the endline evaluation, FDM applied a mixed method approach. The objective of the endline evaluation was to assess the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, coherence, gender and disability considerations and core humanitarian standard commitments in relation to the project.
